Angular is not a web framework by Julian Steiner at DotNet Cologne

Julian Steiner will deliver Angular is not a web framework at the largest.NET community driven .NET conference in the region. Organized by the .NET developer group Cologne/Bonn.

Introduction to {N}ativeScript with Arno Koehler

In this Meetup we will discuss the {N}ativeScript framework. With this introduction we will go through the landscape of building an iOS and Androidinterface with tools like Angular 2, CSS and CSS3 Felxbox.

Who is going to tell you everything about this? Senior Developer Arno Koehler (known from KLM and iProfs/Finalist) will take you through the introduction of {N}ativeScript with a Birds Of A Feather technique (discussions and talks). Want to know more about Arno? Check:

Native Mobile Apps with TypeScript, Angular 2 & NativeScript

If .NET developers want to build mobile apps, they usually think of Xamarin.

There are easier ways to build mobile apps directly from the codebase of a web application. This lecture shows how to develop truly high-performance, native mobile apps based on TypeScript, Angular2 & NativeScript.

NativeScript is a free open source framework for developing native apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The logic is developed in JavaScript or TypeScript, design and style are defined by XML and CSS. Out comes platform-specific code. Again a new way to develop apps?

Native with Angular2? No cross-compiler and no webview - how can this work? These and other questions are clarified in the session. So we'll look at the architecture, build apps with angular2, address native APIs - hack and have fun!

Sharing Code Between Web and Native Apps

In this talk we’ll first take a look at what Angular 2.0 together with NativeScript makes possible from a code sharing perspective. We’ll build a few Angular components and use them both in the browser and on mobile devices. Then we’ll take a step back and look at the same code from a pragmatic, maintenance-oriented perspective. Come for practical tips & tricks on sharing code across multiple development environments.
